Annie and I visited some friends in Bath,NY who took us to a couple of State Parks that we've been wanting to see for some time. Watkins Glen gives you a close-up view of mother natures work over time, it all starts with a hike up, down or up and down the gorge of the Glen. the way the options go, 1) you walk up and take the bus back down to the parking lot, 2) you have a friend drive you up to the upper parking lot, drop you off and walk down, much preferred, and 3), walk up and down, pack a lunch, which ever way you chose, the hike is great with water pools, cliffs and caves, beautiful views all the way. We had lunch at the park right on Seneca Lake watching boats moving in and out of a marina at the south end of the lake. Click here for more photos
