A new day in France

Hon Fleur on the river
Day 4 finds us on the road to Rouen after a delicious breakfast, and on the way we stopped at Lillebonne, site of some old ruins, we also stopped to check out St. Maurice-de Etelan's brick buildings along with some local animals, 2 donkeys. Our morning drive continued along the Seine River that also flows through the city of Paris. Rouen is a shipping port, geographically, Rouen is inland but ships are able to maneuver up the river to Rouen making Rouen a vital port for France's commercial trade, cars, and grain containers are among the shipping that we saw. Hmm lunch time, where do we eat while in France? well, we ate at Italian one day, let's go Spanish, ah the joys of visiting an area where other countries are near by, this restaurant was built inside the limestone castle Le Chateau de Tomcarville's ruins. Bye the way, this area was the site of the tallest building in the world prior to the skyscrapers. Visited the site of where Joan of Ark was burnt at the stake. We walked the cobblestone streets non stop, actually got back "home" at 11:00 pm, good night.
