| Ready to go |
Here it is January 10th 2017 and with an opportunity to go to France with my son, my sister and my son's friend, we're packed and ready to go. My husband Ron is driving us to the Montreal airport where at 2:30 pm, we hopped a flight to Philadelphia, PA and from there on to Charles De Gaul in Paris, oh la la, we arrived in Paris at 7:30am, 1:30 Massena, NY time and rented a car and off we went. Our first stop was the Royaumont Abbaye where monks lived. Stop number 2, is at our residence for a week on Haute street (high street) in Hon Fleur, France, by the way, Hon Fleur is the 6th most visited city in France, we dinned at an Italian restaurant, yup, Italian. On a side note, Hon Fleur is the sister city of Burlington, Vt. and was so named as an act of peace to honor the solders who fought to free France.
