The day started with a trip, on foot, to the open market till about 12:30pm then went to Philippe's sister for "lunch" and what a meal, we had the whole family there to partake, Philippe's mom, dad, his sister, his brother-in-law, niece, Jeff, Roxie and me, certainly a full table. The meal was started with a homemade wine using pears and walnuts with olives stuffed with avocado, cheese and almonds, then to the table for more wine and goose liver spread on bread, the main meal was a casserole made with veal, carrots, rice all cooked in a pressure cooker, a very good meal, this was followed up with champagne and cheese, then came the dessert, apple sauce and cake, the cake had a little toy baked in and whomever got the toy was made King or Queen for the day, Anne got the toy this time. We ended the day with a short trip to the church where Philippe's parent's were married and then
we visited the cemetery.
